Blessing: A Few Thoughts This Season and The New Year

There has been a lot on my mind and heart the past few months. I haven't quite been myself. Stress and anxiety have reached their peaks at times, but through it I have also seen the blessings of knowing I have my family. I have a Heavenly Father who knows me and I am blessed by his Son who has atoned for me to be forgiven and to forgive. He has blessed me with a sure knowledge I am a His daughter and he loves me. He has given me amazing children that have already accomplished more than I ever have. He has given me a husband who has blessed me with his hard work ethic, love, kind words of advice, a deep love for God and shoulder to cry on. He has blessed me with the best parents and grandparents. He has given me the wherewith to know I can do hard things. I have felt his peace in the temple. I have heard the whisperings of the Holy Ghost knowing that I am loved. He has shown me sunshine in the dark  and blessed me with the beauty on this earth.Which leads me to my word for the next year:
Blessing:
1. The act of one that blesses.
2. A short prayer said before or after a meal; grace.
3. Something promoting or contributing to happiness, well-being, or prosperity; a boon.
4. Approbation; approval:

I had a completely different word picked out until last night while I was laying in bed and I was hit like a ton of bricks with the word Blessing! I have truly been blessed and I need to continually acknowledge that I am blessed. I will be working very hard to observe the blessings in my life.

Luke 6:38 - Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Isaiah 40:31 - But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.
